What’s a runway show without great hair? For BLYNDi’s first solo show back in January, we had the privilege of working with the incredibly talented stylist of The March Hare Salon. We are so honored to say they are back collaborating the hair styling of The BLYND Scientist collab show!

Meet Chandise Hampton! Chandise is a master cosmetologist with over 17 years under her belt, and the owner of The March Hare Salon. Chandise describes her salon as “Where Beauty + Sustainability joins hands.”

Creating Beauty Sustainably

“BY CREATING BEAUTY SUSTAINABLY, WE ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES, OF THE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THEY LIVE & WORK, and OF THE THINGS THEY LOVE.” – Chandise Hampton

By being a Green Circle Salon, The March Hare Salon have joined a collection of salons that send every day by-products like hair clippings, aluminum foils, color tubes and applicators for innovative reuse and environment-friendly recycling. In 2017 alone Green Circle Salons have diverted more than 350,000 pounds of waste from landfills and waterways.

Chandise and her team not only enjoy what they do, but they do it well and make sure to learn from only the best in the industry, thus they are ALWAYS “in the know” and stay on top of the latest trends and techniques! Chandise and The March Hare Salon are no strangers to fashion having worked on several different editorials, music videos with We Color Live, and several different fashion shows such as multiple NYFW shows, Mobile Fashion Week, Polo By the Point Fashion Show, and of course BLYNDi!
